Back to the Beginning...

Alyson Claire was born exactly three weeks early on December 20th, just in time for Christmas. She was only 5 pounds and 10 ounces at birth. (She has now grown to a whopping 12 pounds and 6 ounces at three months.) She was so tiny and had the sweetest little chicken legs with gigantic feet. She looked like she was wearing lipstick and had a manicure when she was born. She must have done some heavy primping to make herself presentable for Mom and Dad. We've never been so happy.

Alyson Claire is finally a blogger!

Aly is finally following the example of her friends Caroline, Bailey, and Aunt Becky. I have so much fun reading about the daily events in the lives of everyone else, so I thought Aly's smiles, playtimes, and new developments needed some documentation, too. Becoming a mommy has given me the most amazing experiences that I have ever had and I would love to share some of them with my friends and family. Aly grows so fast. I had to get started or we would all miss it!
